What level of uptime and power redundancy does your Data Centre provide?

This is probably the most important question a client could ask of a data centre.

The main purpose of our facility is to keep everything on and secure. The four main elements required for this are power, connectivity, climate control and security.

Vinters Connect have therefore built of these elements with redundancy in mind. Power, Connectivity and Cooling all have back-up systems designed to withstand any potential single point of failure.

Power is offered to client racks with dual feeds from separate systems, in case of mains power failure each feed has battery and generator systems behind it so equipment never goes off.

Our Service Level Agreement (SLA) on power is therefore offered at 100%. This means that should the power fail for even a brief second, we would be liable to refund you accordingly.

Network (IP Transit) is also presented at the rack on two separate connections. These run from separate infrastructure and our connections to the internet & other facilities run on physically diverse fibre routes out of our building into separate carrier networks.

Our SLA on IP Transit is 99.99%. The only reason this isn’t 100% is that it uses external networks that we cannot manage.

Our data centres climate control involves multiple independent cooling units, and further secondary systems. These are all generator backed in case of mains power failure.

Our SLA is 100% and based around keeping the temperature of air fed to your equipment within 4 degrees C of 24 degrees.

We focus entirely on keeping your equipment powered, cooled, connected & safe so that you can focus on your business.
